(IV) Pedagogy

Our school implements small class teaching and adopts cooperative learning method. Using multi-level questioning, teachers encourage students to think more deeply. “Student-student interaction” and “teacher-student interaction” are also encouraged to raise students’ engagement and learning opportunities in lessons. In addition, a school-based teaching flow is adopted to guarantee quality learning in lessons. Furthermore, teachers adjust their teaching activities to cater to the diverse learning needs, ensuring that students receive appropriate learning opportunities.

(V) Medium of Instruction

Apart from English Subject, our school primarily uses Cantonese as the medium of instruction. In the Chinese language subject, we offer both "Cantonese-medium" and "Putonghua-medium" classes. Upon entering the Primary 1, students' Putonghua proficiency is assessed, and based on their needs, "Putonghua-medium" classes may be offered. When students reach the Primary 4, the Chinese language subject is taught entirely in Cantonese.

Instead of regular homework, the school assigns different tasks during long holidays. Students can choose different tasks to complete and share their experiences when they return to school.
